Youth Ministries
"Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in the word, in conduct in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity." I Timothy 4:12
We believe in our hearts here at Runville United Methodist Church that our young people are not only leaders of tomorrow, but also the leaders of today! We have numerous ministry opportunities that will aid our young people in living out their full potential for Jesus Christ! Our Vision is that we can Reach, Restore, and make Ready so we can Release them as committed followers of Jesus Christ ready to fulfill their God ordained purpose in life.
There are two primary levels of participation, Jr. Youth Fellowship which serves those from 4th through 6th grade and Sr. Youth Fellowship where youth from 7th grade through 12th grade establish vital ministries. Small group discussions cover such topics as "How To Handle Conflict," "Relationships," "How To Handle Peer Pressure" and much, much more. Come find out what the Bible has to say about "Hot Issues" that you as a student face everyday. Our groups meet Sunday evenings from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Runville Church.
